My Yoga Journey

I’m Ana Paula, I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years. It all started with the intention of moving and toning my body, but then I noticed something that made yoga different from other workouts: when doing it regularly, I felt peaceful, calm and less reactive to stress, I slept better, my digestion and posture improved and my overall health thrived. I got hooked and kept showing up on my mat. 

A few years later, I decided to get certified as a Yoga Teacher to deepen my practice, and I ended up falling in love with teaching too. It fills my heart with joy guiding others towards the blissful feeling that yoga awakens in the mind, body and soul.

My yoga classes are very focused on alignment, combining vinyasa flow (movement and stretching), with hatha yoga (strength). It’s a multilevel practice, ideal for beginners. I teach in English and Spanish simultaneously. My passion is teaching people to breathe consciously, staying present in the moment; on and off the mat.
This is what practicing yoga truly means.
